READY, AIM … I DO! (4) by Debra Webb: Somebody is trying to set up former military sniper and mission recovery specialist Jason Grant for a murder rap, and it’s only by accident that he’s saved by pretty spy Ginger Olin. Marrying Jason in a hasty Vegas wedding might be going overboard, but at least it gets them out of the line of fire temporarily. Gin is on the trail of a deadly virus, trying to identify the buyer. Director Emmett Holt sent Jason to meet an agent who has been compromised, but is it a set-up so Holt can use Jason as a scapegoat? Until he finds out, the only two people Jason can trust are Gin and Lucas Camp. It’s always a pleasure when Lucas Camp and Victoria Colby-Camp take a special interest in a case, and Webb hasn’t let retirement slow this couple down. This is a tale with bite, wit and a twisting ongoing plotline.
