This final story about the Donovan siblings will appeal to those who like tales with explicit sex and little love or romance. The hero struggles to embrace a life separate from his siblings. The heroine seems to want to please her father, yet goes out of her way to pursue a career she knows won’t. In the end, one is left wondering what these two have to build a future on besides sex.

Beth Cantrell, manager of an erotic boutique, believes she had a close encounter with brewery owner Jamie Donovan six months ago. Though she fantasized about him, she never thought she’d see him again. However, she doesn’t know that it wasn’t playboy Jamie she met, but his older brother, Eric, staid and serious, and facing an emotional crisis now that his sister and brother are taking on more responsibility in the business. When they do come together again, the sparks fly, but will an occasional sexual encounter be enough to satisfy them? (HQN, Nov., 336 pp., $7.99)
