Armand is a righteous character with a lot of heart. With Theodora by his side, Delacroix has given readers a match of good and evil, all inside a world that blurs the line between the two absolutes.

Armand used to be an angel. To get his wings back, he must first fulfill his mission to kill Maximilian Blackstone, who is running for president of the republic. As for Theodora, she’ll kill anyone for a large enough credit, but her reasons aren’t quite as selfish as she makes them out to be. Teaming up, they realize the true meaning of a divine presence, as well as the outstanding nature of simply being human. Racing against an all-seeing government leaves little time to fall in love, yet sparks fly. (TOR PARANORMAL ROMANCE, Sep., 416 pp., $6.99)

Fallen Angels

Submitted by francesdinagen on September 4, 2010 - 1:21pm.

I am just amazed by Claire Delacroix's imagination and creativity. All her books are so diverse. Chosen is the third in her series about angels who volunteer to lose their wings and fall to earth to help manking and overcome evil. It's a post-apocalyptic world where those in power have bombed the countries of the world for their own greed and power. All children born with birth defects or mutatations are enslaved to serve as slaves, many with no defects as well. The main character in this book struggles with his separation from his fellow angels and misses the connection. He finds love and connnecton with the human spirit of the women he loves.
