RECIPE FOR TEMPTATION (4.5) by Maureen Smith: A highly entertaining story with elements of comedy, cooking, intense sexual chemistry and hot romance that combine to keep readers entranced from beginning to end. Michael Wolf is a celebrated chef, restaurateur and cooking-show host — and he’s determined to remain a lifelong bachelor. Reese St. James is spending time in Atlanta after losing a patient. She has a crush on Michael, and never dreams that she will not only meet him, but be totally enthralled with him. A misunderstanding does nothing to cool their attraction. The chemistry in this book between Reese and Michael is sizzling hot. He is a chef looking for an apprentice for his television show. Little did he suspect that Reese is up for the job. Sparks fly as the sassy Reese agrees to work with the handsome chef.
The supporting cast of characters are believable and interesting. They definitely add depth to the story.
My only issue is that Reese should have had a heart to heart with Victor earlier in the story. Who is Victor ? You have to read the story to find out.
