Book Review

REDEMPTION
by Jacquelin Thomas

Genre: Inspirational, Multicultural

RT Rating

This book lacks the fire and passion of Thomas' earlier works. Hollywood cliches abound, but Thomas' loyal readers will applaud Warner's steadfast love for his wife. Couples can learn a thing or two about what it really means to stick together for better or worse.

Actress Marin Alexander
falls in love with celebrity televangelist Warner Brice at the peak of her career. When her preacher's wife persona begins to place her on the B-list, she turns to old Hollywood friends,
new habits and a spiritual wasteland. Warner won't give up on his wayward wife, even though her antics have begun to make his ministry a spectacle. Can God save her before she ruins
her life and her marriage? (NAL, Mar., 304 pp., $22.95)
