REDWING'S LADY
by Stella Bagwell

Genre: Series

RT Rating

Worried when her young son Aaron disappears, widowed ranch owner Maggie Ketchum phones the sheriff. Deputy Daniel Redwing takes the call and finds the boy, earning Maggie's
gratitude—and Aaron's hero worship. Soon, Daniel gets past Maggie's defenses too. But though attracted to him, she doesn't intend to become Redwing's Lady (3) in any permanent way—she's too frightened of losing him to commit. Stella Bagwell has created a wonderful hero in Daniel, who's complicated, yet straightforward, and any woman's ideal. Unfortunately, Maggie isn't as well-developed. Her lack of self-esteem is never explained, and some of her actions are just plain confusing.
