The matchmakers are at it again in Eternity Springs and, with a bit of angel dust, will help the hero and heroine discover the healing power of love. All the characters are wonderfully complex and the surprise involving one of them is nicely done. Readers will be eager to reach the end, yet sad to get there.

New to Eternity Springs, Colo., single Savannah Moore is prime game for the town matchmakers. The man they choose for her is Sheriff Zach Turner. They couldn’t make a more unfortunate choice: Savannah’s past has given her a distrust of law officers that seems impossible to overcome. Though Zach has been “once bitten, twice shy” by love, he can’t help but be drawn to Savannah, especially with the encouragement of his friends. But will Savannah’s inability to trust him doom any relationship they might have? Will Eternity Springs and its ability to heal hearts be able to heal hers? (BALLANTINE, Apr., 368 pp., $7.99)
