by Connie Lane

Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

Multi-millionaire businessman Alex Romero has a problem. Several people want him dead and have hired a hit man to accomplish the task. But the FBI is quite determined to keep their star witness alivewith or without his cooperation.

FBI Special Agent Kate Ellison is not about to let the stubborn businessman get killed. Forcing Alex to go into protective custody proves no easy chore, especially once he gets a load of their new lives in Cleveland. Posing as a married couple, Kate and Alex are a bit like fish out of water. With Alexs high media profile, staying undercover becomes a challenge, especially because he refuses to completely cooperate.

REINVENTING ROMEO is both intense and exciting, plus there is an added element of situational humor that shines through this highly enjoyable tale. Connie Lane is a stand-out! (Dec., 352 pp, $5.99)
