This delightful addition to Sands’ Argeneau saga has the humor, action, interesting characters, intriguing plot and hot sex readers have come to expect and appreciate from this author.

Sent to watch over and protect new vampire Stephanie, Drina Argenis knows an ulterior motive is in play. It seems Marguerite senses that Drina is Harper Stoyan’s life mate, and that Harper will be reluctant to accept this, having had one life mate die not a year and a half ago, when he attempted to turn her. Harper finds it hard to believe another is there for him so soon. Drina has her work cut out for her getting him to accept her. It’s a good thing she has a lot of help. Though it is not long until Harper accepts the unavoidable, attempts on Stephanie’s life, as well as Harper’s and Drinia’s, turn the distraction of being life mates into a very dangerous thing.
