RENEGADE
by Diana Palmer

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Setting: America, Texas

RT Rating

Palmer's follow-up to Desperado and Lawless has a clever plot, plenty of action and memorable characters. Tippy shines as a courageous heroine with incredible fortitude. Although Cash is pure alpha male and comes with all the annoying quirks of the species, he ultimately redeems himself in true hero style.

When the small-town politics of Jacobsville, Texas, overwhelm police chief Cash Grier, he heads to New York to visit Tippy, a beautiful actress he
met several months ago.

As Cash and Tippy get to know one another better, they discover that neither gives trust easily. One evening, they push their fears aside and surrender to the bedroom. But the morning after, Cash panics and runs.

Their separation is short-lived, however. When vicious drug dealers assault Tippy and hold her for ransom, this renegade lawman rides to her rescue. Cash whisks the battered beauty away to his Texas home to give her a place to heal. Cash will do anything to protect Tippy from further danger, but can he protect her from his own desires?
