On a day off from her work on an archaeological dig, photographer Lisa Sullinger sprains an ankle and is caught in a sandstorm -- but Sheikh Tuareg al Shaldor comes to her rescue. A widower, Tuareg is devoted to his late wife's memory, but something about Lisa intrigues him. A relationship is out of the question, but Lisa falls for Tuareg anyway. It's not until she's leaving that he realizes he returns Lisa's feelings, but is it too late? Barbara McMahon's Rescued by the Sheikh (3) has nicely developed characters and a solid plot. However, there are simply too many cliched elements for comfort.
