Anthropologist Isobella Douglas is touring Scotland with her twin sister after being jilted at the altar. She wishes she could meet a chivalrous knight or Mr. Darcy type, when a matchmaking ghost grants her heart’s desire. The twins find themselves in medieval times in the middle of a battlefield. Her sister is taken by a rival clan, while Isobella is rescued by Laird Alysandir Mackinnon. He is the embodiment of her dream guy, but he thinks she’s a spy. Soon Isobella wins his approval and loyalty, but what she wants is his heart. (SOURCEBOOKS, Apr., 448 pp., $7.99)
