RIDING THE CORPORATE LADDER
by Keith Thomas Walker

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Multicultural
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

Walker has penned an entertaining story that is interesting and flows smoothly. However, Deena’s sometimes callous behavior made it hard for this reader to muster up sympathy when she gets a taste of her own medicine. Had the reason for her behavior been made known at the beginning it may have made her cruel actions somewhat more palatable.

Hard work, intelligence and great looks have propelled Deena Newman’s career to new heights. She has used every opportunity to her advantage, including sleeping with men to make her assent move faster. She has a healthy disdain for men and only has one use for them … to satisfy her even healthier sexual appetite. Her hard shell is cracked when she falls for a superior while trying to seduce him to receive another promotion. Her past soon comes back to haunt her when she loses everything.
