by Suzanne MacPherson

Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance

Model Marla Meyers seems to be living under a dark cloud. While she has always
been a bit of a klutz, recently her accidents have been more numerous and more
severe. So severe that in order to keep the jobs she has, Marla must get insured.

Thomas Riley is a reluctant insurance agent who dreams of becoming a P.I. Years
ago, when Tom's girlfriend, Doris, got
pregnant, these dreams were dashed.

The marriage failed and now all of his money goes to pay for his son's upbringing.
So is he risking too much by deciding to insure Marla, who upon their meeting
almost immediately trips down the stairs?

When the home office gets wind of Tom's undertaking, he's ordered to
protect the policy by sticking close to Marla and preventing any further accidents.

As he observes Marla, he begins to
suspect that maybe some of Marla's accidents are not really accidents at
all but attempts at sabotage. But who would want
to ruin Marla's career?

Suddenly Tom's dream of investigating a case is coming true, and he must
find the answers to protect his attractive client.

Charming and fun, RISKY BUSINESS
is the debut novel of author Suzanne Macpherson. Marla and Tom seem like such
an odd couple, but their story will make you smile. (Dec., 384 pp., $5.99)
