RIVER OF DREAMS
by Lynn Kurland

Genre: Fantasy, General Fantasy

RT Rating

A hazardous quest for a kingdom whose name must not be spoken is at the heart of Kurland’s latest fantastic installment in the Nine Kingdoms series. Kurland has taken her innocent heroine and thrown her headfirst into a world filled with magic and magical entities. As always, the worldbuilding is rich and vivid and the characters fascinating and well rounded, which is why Kurland’s books are truly awesome reads!

Time is running out for Aisling to find her sword master/assassin and return to Bruadair to drive the usurper from the throne. Aiding in her quest is Prince Rùnach of Ceangail, whose own magic was drained by his evil father Gair. Shockingly, Aisling has discovered that she has her own unusual ability to weave the elements. As they hunt for more clues as to what exactly is happening in Bruadair, Rùnach learns that a very dangerous book he has found is wanted by a very dark mage.
