Her idyllic small town is populated with multidimensional characters, many of whom will be familiar to series fans. New readers won’t have any trouble settling into St. Dennis, however, or falling for the main couple as they build a future despite past tragedies and disappointments. A whiff of the paranormal only reinforces the power of love to overcome all obstacles, and the promise of upcoming books will have readers eager to return to St. Dennis soon.
