Gathering the many members of
her parents' extended foster family for
a surprise anniversary party is recently graduated teacher Molly Walker's goal, and Kyle Reeves is the lone holdout mere weeks before the big day. So Molly decides to track the wounded ex-Marine to his Tennessee mountain retreat and invite him personally. Kyle declines, then has to drive Molly home to Texas when she's injured. Along the way, they become very aware that they're not really related! Gina Wilkins' latest, The Road to Reunion (3), is a pleasant, easy read, but the plot's a tad familiar and characterization doesn't go beyond the surface.
