When her father dies in disgrace, Lady Olivia finds the only way to make the money she needs to support her family is to take to the roads as a highwayman.

Still a member of society, Olivia attends a ball and is introduced to Gabriel Wellsby, Marquis of Bathurst, who foils her plot to steal their host's jewels, forcing her to take to the road again. It's just her luck that she stops Bathurst's coach.

Lady Olivia intrigues Bathurst and he starts showing up at her home intent upon bedding her. His powers of seduction are difficult for Olivia to resist.

However, when a spurned suitor kidnaps Olivia, Gabriel saves her and does the honorable thing by proposing marriage. Though she refuses, they cannot keep their hands off each other. But their pride stands in the way of their future happiness.

Ms. Mason has written another winner to delight her fans who want sexual tension that leads to hot explosion, memorable characters and a fast-paced story. VERY SENSUAL (Jun., 380 pp., $6.99)
