The Nikki Glass series just keeps getting better. You can read book three alone, but it’s always better when there is some background to fully enjoy it. A unique take on Greek myths with a paranormal twist, it takes a set of already exciting characters to the next level.

Private investigator and immortal huntress Nikki is called on to locate Konstantin, the former leader of the Olympians. After an attack, Nikki thinks he could be targeting her instead of hiding out. His son, Cyrus, complicates things by forbidding anyone to harm his father. Soon Nikki begins to wonder if Konstantin is behind the attacks at all. (POCKET, May, 384 pp., $7.99)
