ROMANCING THE M.D. (4.5) by Maureen Smith: An interesting look at interracial dating and an explosive mix of heat and passion make this novel a true page-turner. Dr. Tamara St. John and Victor Aguilar Garcia are surgical interns who can’t seem to see eye to eye on anything. Through their bickering they discover that they have more in common than they think -- namely, a strong urge to succeed and a passion for life, love and sex. Yielding to their temptations is supposed to be a one-time thing but the explosion that occurs between them forces them to re-evaluate their future together.
