ROMANCING THE NANNY
Nanny Amy Logan makes widowed architect Dan Major's life a breeze, and his daughter is very attached to her. So when Amy starts dating someone, Dan's willing to take drastic steps to make sure she doesn't leave. Making her fall in love with him is easy, and when Dan proposes, Amy accepts. Then Amy learns the truth, and Dan's in trouble -- not only is she crushed, he suddenly realizes he's fallen for her too. Cindy Kirk's Romancing the Nanny (2) has a straightforward plot, and the characters have chemistry. But Dan comes across as manipulative and coldhearted, and readers will want better for Amy.
