ROMANCING THE TYCOON
by Debra Webb

Genre: Series

RT Rating

Chicago native Amy Wells is a personal assistant at the Colby Agency, a private investigations firm. But what she really wants to be is an investigator. When she delivers a background check on Texas oil tycoon John Robert "J.R." Calhoun IV to his prospective father-in-law, Amy discovers that J.R. may have mob ties. When she's mistakenly identified as J.R.'s fiance-to-be and taken to his ranch,
she plays along, hoping to learn the truth and boost her career. ROMANCING THE TYCOON (3), by Debra Webb, offers an interesting twist on a case of mistaken identity and has some mettle, but the plot isn't very fresh and is quite reminiscent
of the movie Mrs. Winterbourne.
