Rubart's novel takes
an amazing, unique
look at God. Although
the story is fast paced, the author leaves room for contemplation
and deeper examination into the
reader's own faith journey. Readers will relate to the main characters
and draw parallels.
Micah Taylor is a young software billionaire who has all of the money, power and prestige he could want. He receives a letter from his deceased great-uncle, stating that a home has been built for Micah on the Oregon coast. Though the area holds some bad memories for him, he checks it out and finds a huge mansion. The house is more amazing than it appears on the surface. Micah's life is about to change, though whether it's for good or bad is yet to be determined. (B&H, Apr., 400 pp., $14.99)
