Return to the political battles of Silvershire in Royal Betrayal (4), by Nina Bruhns. In this installment of the Capturing the Crown series, Dr. Walker Shaw is called in to help the ailing king's doctor when she is injured in a murder attempt and ends up with amnesia. Walker's more than a bit shocked to find out the doctor is Zara Smith, a woman he had an affair with years ago. Walker discovers that the terrorist attempt was actually against Zara, not the king. It becomes a race against time to unravel the mystery of "who and why" before Zara is killed. Long-buried secrets are revealed, and an ending that looks impossible turns out to be a perfect happily ever after.
