RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
by Elizabeth Moon

Genre: Science Fiction, General Science Fiction

Favorite author Elizabeth Moon scored a big hit with the introduction of Esmay Suiza as she began her military career with a bang and fell in love with one of the Serrano heirs. In RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (4), now in paperback, Esmay learns that politics is the most dangerous battlefield. Her adjustment is made infinitely more difficult when the daughter of the Speaker is abducted by radical fundamentalists and she is assigned the rescue. Ms. Moon is right on target about sometimes uncomfortable military-civilian relations and engages all of our emotions with vibrant characterization and spellbinding plotting.
