After her twin brother, David, a military reservist, is killed after being called to active duty, Tess Spencer be-comes an activist who wants nothing to do with the military--until she meets Cole Harrington. Attracted to him in spite of the fact that he's a reservist, they begin a relationship, and Tess ends up helping Cole catch a thief who's been stealing computer secrets from his company. The characters in Bonnie K. Winn's Rules of Engagement (4) have real depth. Tess' indecision over her relationship with Cole is very realistic given her history.
