Accountant Whitney Ann "Pink" Pearl is embroiled in yet another mystery when she finds a bank account in her name with $200,000 of stolen funds from the charity she's working for. She starts investigating, but when she tries to find out who opened the account, a co-worker ends up dead, and Pink is the main suspect. Once again, she must rely on the men in her life for help: attorney Ed Ravenaldt and Senator Steve Santorelli. Stephanie Feagan's Run for the Money (4.5) is a fun read from start to finish. Even in the middle of a murder investigation, Pink finds the time to be confused over the men in her life. What woman wouldn't want to have two great men like Ed and Steve competing for her affections?
