RUNNING WITH THE DEVIL
by Lorelei James

Genre: Romantic Suspense, General Romantic Suspense

RT Rating

The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally rumbles to life in this fast-paced story, which is filled with snappy dialogue. The characters are interesting individuals, and their actions are well-motivated. There are some inconsistencies, like a DEA officer failing to search the heroine's suitcase when they check into a hotel together, but these don't significantly detract from the plot.

Kenna Jones gets in over her head when she agrees to be a paid escort for a biker. After the man is murdered, she learns that he was a DEA informant. Now DEA agent Drake March is looking to her for answers, and someone is trying to stop them. As they join forces to find the murderer, they are drawn to one another. Their attraction is immediate; the scenes are steamy; and the development of their relationship is logical and believable. (Samhain, Jun., 248 pp., $11.50)
