RUNNING ON EMPTY
by Michelle Celmer

Genre: Series, Silhouette Intimate Moments, Previously Published Series Imprints

RT Rating

Detective Mitch Thompson is exhausted when he almost wheels his shopping cart over a body in the toy department of the Save Mart. The woman who has been brutally attacked in the store is alive, but when she regains consciousness, she can't remember who she is or why she was following Mitch. Jane Doe is determined to find out who she is and what happened, and Mitch is drawn into the mystery despite his reservations about her. Running on Empty (3) by Michelle Celmer has mystery, suspense and interesting secondary characters. Jane's character is uneven because she seems too carefree at the beginning of what turns
out to be a serious book, and her relationship with Mitch lacks a strong base.
