A well-written and tender love story that shows how love can change a person. The characters are well developed in this light but enjoyable read.

Eliza Hunter is a shy and bookish woman but one who will do anything to protect her sister from her brutish husband — even follow bounty hunter Grady Wolfe as he searches for her sister. Grady isn’t very educated and doesn’t understand half of what Eliza says, but there is something about her that he can’t resist. Two opposites who can’t seem to keep their hands off each other fall in love, but Grady has a secret. Will Eliza’s love make him into a better man than he believes he is?
