A RUTHLESS PASSION (3) is ignited when Nick Harding meets his mentor's fiancée, Cat Courtald. Six years later, they meet up again; a widowed Cat needs a trustee to help an orphaned child get a desperately needed surgery. Nick agrees to pay for the surgery if Cat will pose as his lover for an upcoming week-long event. The inevitable happens and they become lovers, but will it be enough for Nick? Robyn Donald pens an emotionally packed tale about an attraction deterred by baggage and misconceptions. This book held my interest, but the conflict keeping the characters apart is weak.
