SANTA, BABY (3) by Lisa Renee Jones: Bookstore owner Caron Avery has been nervous about public events since she fell during her high school graduation. When she's asked to appear at a gala dressed as Marilyn Monroe, she feels she can't be that sexy. But she meets wealthy Baxter Remington, who is always interested in a new woman. When FBI agent Sarah Walker can't get close to Baxter, whose VP she thinks may be involved in insider trading, she tries to get Caron's help. This is a complicated plot for one book. Too bad the chemistry between the characters never quite rings true, weakening an otherwise pleasant read.
