Book Review

TO SANTA WITH LOVE
by Janet Dailey

Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

Originally published in 1977 as The Master Fiddler, this is a lovely romance with a charming young heroine. The more mature hero and his family are wonderful. The story ends up taking a step beyond the I-love-you.

On her way to Los Angeles from Texas, Jacquie Grey literally runs into Choya Barnett and his 6-year-old son, Robbie, in Tombstone, Ariz. The repairs to her car strand her there long enough to lose her wallet, leaving her desperate for a job. Choya offers one: temporary housekeeper for his father, Robbie and himself. The father and Robbie are no problem, but the animosity as well as the attraction she and Choya feel for one another will certainly cause trouble. (ZEBRA, Oct., 352 pp., $6.99)
