SAVING ALYSSA (4.5) by Loree Lough: All Noah Preston wanted to do is be alone and raise his daughter to make up for all of his past mistakes. But his life is changed when Billie Landon walks into his bike shop. Billie was content by herself after losing her stillborn baby daughter, but she is drawn to the aloof and distant Noah and his bright and needy little girl. However, as the romance between Noah and Billie builds, Noah’s past catches up with him. Lough’s characters are exceptional. Both flawed and hurt, they still make the reader cheer for them to take a chance on love. Lough pairs her characters with an interesting plot that will stick with readers until the last page.
