Saving Jemma has an intriguing mystery with plenty of suspense, an emotional romance and some interesting characters. The action keeps the story moving at a quick pace and readers will feel the need to keep reading just one more page.

After a miscarriage, divorce and a foiled robbery attempt, Jemma Abbott travels to North Dakota to visit her old friend David. Things turn bizarre when she’s met by David’s cousin, police detective Wyatt Kelly, and discovers that David has no knowledge of her visit. After David suffers a near-fatal accident that turns out to be not so accidental, Wyatt and Jemma are drawn to each other and into a dangerous situation. (WILD ROSE, Dec., 250 pp., $12.99)
