SAY IT WITH ROSES
SAY IT WITH ROSES (2) by Devon Vaughn Archer: Madison Wagner has moved to Portland to start a new life for herself. Though she is new to the city, she is reluctant to forge a friendship with Stuart Kendall, the brother of her former friend Holly, who married her ex-fiancé. Through persistence on Stuart’s part and a willingness to let go of the past, Madison gives their friendship a shot and gives love a chance to bloom. However, the arrival of Stuart’s ex-wife puts a dent in both Stuart and Madison’s goals of moving on. Archer utilizes too many predictable plot points, and the sex scenes are slightly rushed and, in some instances, written mechanically and without passion.
