RT Rating

In the latest of her Healer series, Snyder continues the story of Avry of Kazan, the last healer in the Fifteen Realms. Once again Snyder entertains readers with an intriguing storyline filled with fully formed characters paired with action, adventure and romance, all in equal doses. Add to that good pacing, crisp dialogue superb storytelling and a pleasantly clever heroine in Avry, and what you’re left with is one great read.

Gifted healer Avry of Kazan, now thought dead by those who know her, is determined to find her estranged sister and make things right between them. She also wants to help stop the evil King Tohon from fully taking control over the Fifteen Realms. She means to do both by infiltrating and joining up with the holy army of high priestess, Estrid, who is fighting against Tohon. One thing is certain: War is coming. Will Avry survive?
