This new Nantucket-set series is written by a team of authors — Patti Berg, Camy Tang, Pam Andrews and Barbara Hanson — and it features a family that yearns to become closer than they have been in a long time. The details of Nantucket Island are amazing: You can feel the breeze on your skin and the warmth of the local people in your heart.

Sisters Caroline Marris, Gracie Gold and Sam Carter return to Nantucket Island, where they vacationed as children with their parents. Caroline convinces her sisters to become joint owners of Misty Harbor Inn, the place their deceased mother adored. When they stumble upon some old hand-written postcards, they find a mystery. Can three different personalities from the same family make a go of a new business venture or have they bitten off more than they can chew? (GUIDEPOSTS, Apr., 336 pp., $13.99)
