Woodsmall is a talented author who brings the simple life of the Amish to readers with charm and respect. This wonderful fourth installment in the Amish Vines and Orchards series has sweet characters who will do anything for their family, even if it goes against everything they believe in.

Rhoda Byler is finding her footing in the new Amish settlement in Orchard Bend, Maine, where she has finally been able to put her heartbreak behind her. She helps with a thriving orchard and has embraced her special gift of the mind. When Leah King gets involved with an Englischer, Rhoda and some of her family members support Leah, knowing they could be in trouble with their bishop and family back home. When a sudden family emergency arises, the members of the new Amish community come together to save all they have worked for in the last year. (WATERBROOK, Apr., 336 pp., $14.99)
