THE SECOND BETRAYAL
by Cheyenne McCray

Genre: Romantic Suspense, General Romantic Suspense
Sensuality: HOT

RT Rating

Superior action-suspense! McCray has created a powerhouse in Lexi Steele, who's strong, vulnerable, sexy and smart. Powerful characters and a dark and compelling plot make this a great read.

Lexi is mad for her partner Nick but can't let her lust get in the way of their mission to take down a human-trafficking operation. To catch the ringleader, Lexi poses as a madam to infiltrate the group and take out the leader.

Nick is keeping a secret from Lexi, and though she's trusted him with her darkest secrets, he doesn't seem to be able to do the same. If their relationship is to go further, he's going to have to trust Lexi. (ST. MARTIN'S, Aug., 336 pp., $7.99)
