SECOND SUNRISE: A LEE NEZ NOVEL
by Aimee and David Thurlo

Genre: Mystery/Suspense/Thriller, Mystery, Paranormal

RT Rating

FBI agent Diane Lopaz is called in
to investigate an attack on Navajo State Patrolman Leonard Hawk. Unknown to
her, Hawk is really part vampire Lee Nez. Lee is hunting a skinwalker—a
Navajo witch and shapeshifter—who is hunting him. He is also on the trail
of his old nemesis, Hans Gruber, the vampire that changed him back in 1945.

As for Hans, he is looking for the
plutonium Lee was able to hide from him back then. Now Diane is getting too
close to Lee for comfort. Can he share his secrets with her? If he does, will

it get her killed as it did his wife? Once
she knows, will she work with him to
get Gruber? There's only one way to
find out…

SECOND SUNRISE is the first in a new series featuring Lee Nez by the talented
Thurlos team. I was eagerly looking forward to this new novel from them and
was not disappointed. SECOND SUNRISE
is a fantastic blend of reality and the supernatural. Lee Nez makes it easy

to suspend doubt and believe in "skinwalkers" and "night walkers."
My only complaint: having to wait for the next installment. (Nov., 384 pp.,
$24.95)
