Dr. Marja Pulaski is driving home after a shift at Patience Memorial Hospital when she accidentally knocks down a man. Undercover agent Kane Donnelly can't believe he let himself get mugged. He refuses to go to the hospital, so Marja takes the attractive man home to patch him up. Kane doesn't let on that he's working undercover at the hospital to investigate a supposed threat. He's always been a loner, so he's surprised that Marja has gotten to him. It's always fun to spend time with the loud and intense Pulaski family, and being welcomed into the Pulaski clan is a revelation to Kane. Marie Ferrarella's Secret Agent Affair (4), the newest in the Doctors Pulaski series,
is an emotional journey.
