THE SECRET LIFE OF BECKY MILLER
by Sharon Hinck

Genre: Inspirational, Mainstream

RT Rating

Super mom Becky Miller is the mother of three and a church volunteer. She has her hands full and everything under control, until her hopes and dreams seem to crumble in a head-on collision.

Becky feels enormous pressure to do something big for God. When her chance seems to pass her by, she can't handle the hurt. Then handsome hero Kevin is the victim of downsizing. Can she face even more disappointments, or will she give the broken pieces to God?

No preaching here. Hinck delivers a lighthearted and humorous look at a mom striving to be all that she can be for God. The "fantasy" scenes are succinct, with matching analogies throughout each chapter. (Jun., 304 pp., $12.99)
