Book Review

SECRET LOVE
by Fiona McGier

Genre: Erotic Romance, Mystery/Thriller/Suspense

RT Rating

Secret Love has a fast pace, believable characters and an interesting storyline. There are equal amounts of romance and suspense mixed in with frequent, spicy love scenes. It would have been great to see more interaction between the protagonists outside of the bedroom, but McGier really makes it apparent how much they care for each other.

Sheena Nelsen has signed away 15 years of her life to a shadowy government agency. She works hard, but likes to unwind with uncomplicated relationships. While between assignments in Berlin, she meets actor Hickory “Cory” Woods and her highly regulated life changes. After parting, they reconnect while she’s on assignment in LA. Sheena knows she should stay away to keep him from danger, but she cannot help herself. Will Cory still want to be with her after he gets to know the real Sheena?
