In addition to sewing wedding gowns and grooming dogs, Sylvie Shea dedicates her time to community service. Staying busy keeps her mind off her broken heart, the dream she left behind in New York City and The Secret Wedding Dress (3) in her bedroom. Sylvie balks when friends and family members set her up with her mysterious and cantankerous new neighbor, Joel Mercer. Roz Denny Fox has created endearing characters, but it's hard to pinpoint the moment when Sylvie goes from scrawny to sexy in Joel's eyes. At times, the small-town setting seems almost stifling.
