SECRET WITNESS
by Jessica Andersen

Genre: Series

2004 Best Harlequin Intrigue Nominee

RT Rating

Threatened by a killer to
alter DNA results that
could link the criminal to a series of murders, forensic lab technician Stephanie Alberts calls detective Reid Peters for help. Having aided Steph after an attack by her ex the year before, Reid has some lingering feelings, but becomes suspicious of her motives when she starts lying to him. SECRET WITNESS (4.5) is a compelling read and Jessica S. Andersen does an outstanding job of depicting the leads both romantically and technically in their respective professions. Scorching chemistry, vivid descriptions and a plausible plot make this a keeper.
