Genre: Regency Period, Historical Romance, England
Sensuality: HOT
Setting: Regency England

RT Rating

Allen takes a shipwreck spying adventure with lots of sensuality and spins it into a page-turner. The strong characters and sexy relationship will definitely satisfy readers.

Averil Heydon finds herself shipwrecked, naked and surrounded by men when British Navy Captain Luc d’Aunay claims her as his “prize.” As the leader of a crew made up of prisoners on a mission for the Crown, Luc must protect Averil and to do so he has to convince the rough men she is his property. They share a cabin and Luc kisses and caresses her at will. Averil is furious, believing that since they are on an island near Sicily she should be freed. But Luc cannot take the chance. Though Averil tries to resist his sensual pull she is drawn to Luc. As their love and his mission converge they face danger and passion with equal strength. (HARLEQUIN, Mar., 300 pp., $6.25)
