Readers will immediately enjoy Han’s glamorous setting, but may not take to the characters until later in the book. Early on, Ryker threatens to ruin Avery if she doesn’t agree to plan his next event, and it may take time for readers to look past this rude and arrogant introduction. However, as Avery and Ryker grew closer, they become an enjoyable couple who deserve a happy ending.

Ryker Li is a man who commands attention and is used to getting his way. So when he wants Avery Chase to plan his next event, saying no is not an option.
