Quinn's shapeshifter story combines suspense and romance. The hero's werewolf characteristics are nicely woven into the plot as Quinn utilizes
his enhanced senses to track the villain. This is an enjoyable read, but there's nothing new here other than the location. A cliffhanger in the last pages seems to promise another installment.

Two years ago Pelicia ended up in jail, lost her job and her reputation and suffered a broken heart -- all due to Declan O'Connell. She's retreated to her island hometown off the coast of Cornwall to run her grandfather's BandB and try to rebuild her life. But Declan shows up, and soon her life is in turmoil again. A sniper is shooting at her, and people are dying as she fights her fierce attraction to Declan. Meanwhile, Declan is trying to protect her and keep his recent werewolf conversion a secret.
