This is a story with heat, intensity and a trio of characters living in a time where secrets — and passion — hold shocking power. While the dynamics between the characters is well thought out and the physical intimacy sizzling, there are aspects of the heroine’s transformation that need more detail and the tension between the leads isn’t strong enough to support their lust. Nevertheless, this is a unique ménage relationship with some surprising twists to keep the plot interesting.

Sister Margaret Mary arrives home, intending to clean out her deceased mother’s house and return to her orderly convent life, but she soon discovers some unsettling truths about her mother and her town that make her question everything she believed as true. Her relationship with her attorney, Jordan Parnell, makes Margaret Mary yearn to experience all the life she has denied herself. When Jordan’s best friend returns from Korea scarred and emotionally empty, she soon realizes there is room in her heart to love them both together. But will her faith in their newfound happiness withstand a final, shattering secret? (SIRENPUBLISHING.COM, dl $5.99)
